Whatz up MG , Yeah , that's a PC, I never liked them in the past because it didn't matter how good at programing you were , theres always something waiting around the corner to corrupt it -Oh you could spend time taking on problems as they arise if you have the patience , In theory , you shouldn't have to .

It is allot better today , I still don't trust one. Mathematically correct isn't really that much of a virtu on a PC - So what the hell good are they? - Job security

MAC's on the other hand - well , they just work ..

I use to use wrist straps , for little while anyway - I haven't used one in about three years - I got in the habit of discharging all my jigluhwatts via re panel of the whatever comp I'm working on - before I dive in..

However , I have forgot to before and took one out, actually the Static E went right to the power supply and trashed it - but luckily it stopped there.

I usually keep one around - That last pic of the comp I posted has a wrist clamp attached (you can see it if you look close) - see that big red clamp in the pic hooked to the housing ? I used that to discharge ..

That's my new PCM hahaa , I wish .. Whoever writes the music for these trucks is freakin awesome . It prolly took about 50 people to accomplish and many many years to proof..

That sh^ts beyond me - I couldn't do it. These computers default seamlessly , that's very hard to do in repetition ..

Hey Kevin , If it's the same after you unplug your vacume supply line, shut it down.

Connect a vac gage to the regulator vac hose , start her up and check to make sure vacume is present.

Theres quite a few tests and procedures - you need both gages(vac & pressure) to perform.

Did you go by book , you should be able to find a list in any repair manual.

The only vac line problems I have wittnesses is the pink & blue lines by the solenoids - between your battery and firewall - both of mine rubshured at one time. I cannot explain how that happened - just got old prolly....

When your testing your pump at idle - Pinch your fuel line once and watch your guage - Pressure should increase imediatly - That just tell you how quick your pumps working..

Side Note: Regulators do go bad.

LOL - well I brought in the house friday and hooked it up the 30" screen and it sucked bad , just the picture .. PC's built in Video Intel is Pretty wimpy - the mother boards 2 years old in that unit .

Anyway I then hooked it up to the Gateway 19" and it looks great - surpisingly fast and snappy.

BUT!! It's running way to HOT - To much power in that little box - When testing for the first hour , the temp rose about 10 degrees in the den lol.

I need a bigger box for it and a few more fans -

NOPE! - No crash and burn , YET!!

LOL - U crack me up , well , you can pinch the fuel line on gage - that shoud be rubber

That comp would keep it warm for a little while , well, until it's compromized.

Heat kills quickly , it would be history within a month - theres a 3.4 Pig processor w/hyper threading - 1 1/2 gig of memeory fillin the slots. I new there would be a heat issue , so I siliconed the prcessor and bolted a squirl cage fan directly to the top. 300 gig HD for all me diagrams/ photo's I 've picked up over the years ..

It's all stuck in a HP FormFactor 5000 shell...I'll getter right - the next time I feel like workin on it

I think i found the problem First off my last gauge i used was a POS.I bought a nice gauge and here are the results.
Idle=28psi
Idle vaccum disconected=38psi
both hold steady
I am not sure the exact method of getting max fuel pressure?
by turning the key on and of several times=35psi
Leakdown after 5min=30psi
the most i could get revving the motor=36psi

here is what my Haynes manual says
idle 30-45psi
vaccum detached=40-50
leakdown after 5min=30-40

What you think?
