back to topic, any overheating issues or does the truck run cooler, cause I'm gonna be towing ALOT!
hey that Troyer kit fan sounds like a good fan. I did e-fans on my 95 Lightning that I take to the track and towed with and it works great. I made my own controller/harness from 4 gauge wire with a 195* on 180* off t-stat, manual switch and HD solenoid, relay and fuse holder. It works great!! no melted components or wire and no running the fan all the time. I have since made about 50 more of them for a few friends with the same results. Cool thing is it can be adapted to any fan.
Go for the fan its cool!!

Racer, sorry to hear about your accident. For some 20/20 hindsight, my Windstar has a kill switch on the hood, won't work with the hood up.

Regarding efans;

A guy I work with did a very nice efan install with a 3.8 Taurus fan. It is dual speed and low profile. The high speed is run by the A/C and the low by a temp sensor.

Planning to do this myself soon. Will take pics.
