i think he just wanted an opinion from some other people who might have the same truck as him. Anyways i have a 5.4L s/c and im running the NGK TR6 plugs. running motorcraft stock plugs wouldnt be a bad replacement choice either.

Some heads have more threads than others.
If you get a plug that has less threads than what's in the heads, damage results to the heads.
This bears some extra thought because it's what the plug hole configutation is.
Either limited threads and there is a counter bore to allow for the unthreaded portion of the plug, or full thread, as referenced to the taper seat seal.
These are half and full threaded plugs that otherwise are the same in function.
Best to look at what you have first or take one with you to compare.
An example is for an 02 4.6L f150, OEM was AGSF32PM. The new designation is AWSF32PM. The difference is the AWSF has full threads all the way to the taper seat area.
That means my heads can take either one but some heads cannot.
Same would apply to after market plugs.
I know this is old but needs correcting according to plugs in hand. The AGSF32PM has full threads. The one I pulled, AWSF32P does not have full threads.
