I don't mean to sound like an jerk, but if you use the search function and do a little bit of reading you should be able to find your answer. I know I'm a junior member too, but I know some of the guys on here that have been around for awhile get tired of people asking the same questions.

Motorcraft or Autolite. Anything else can be hit or miss.

Watch out for those Autolites, My 98 5.4L wouldn't run right with-em and threw a light - switched them out for Motorcrafts and all was well. Except for the fact I couldn't return the Autolites and I was out $50. That was in my 98 , not sure about anyone else's luck - my experiance was all bad with them.

Why do you feel the need to respond like that? People on this forum are happy to help. It's what the hell it exists for. If anyone gets upset at repeat questions, they need not respond. All one has to do is to scroll over the post.

Google is a search function. This forum is for personal exchanges.

Get Motorcraft, but make sure you get the right ones! I recently bought replacement plugs and they turned out to be the wrong ones, or at least plugs no longer recommended by Ford. Your safest bet is to buy them from the dealer.

A word about getting plugs from a dealer is that they can make a mistake too because Ford has superseded some plug numbers.
If they don't look close, you could get the wrong ones.
Some heads have more threads than others.
If you get a plug that has less threads than what's in the heads, damage results to the heads.
This bears some extra thought because it's what the plug hole configutation is.
Either limited threads and there is a counter bore to allow for the unthreaded portion of the plug, or full thread, as referenced to the taper seat seal.
These are half and full threaded plugs that otherwise are the same in function.
Best to look at what you have first or take one with you to compare.
An example is for an 02 4.6L f150, OEM was AGSF32PM. The new designation is AWSF32PM. The difference is the AWSF has full threads all the way to the taper seat area.
That means my heads can take either one but some heads cannot.
Same would apply to after market plugs.

Frankly, I didn't realize all the potential problems related to buying spark plugs. Remember the good ole' days when you could just go down to the auto parts store, buy plugs and wires, go home, and change them under the ole' shade tree? Now, it can be an ordeal just to get proper replacement parts, if they're in stock (which they usually aren't) and any special tools required to complete what was once such a simple task, depending on the vehicle, of course.

I think it all started with that compression of liquids dealie... it would appear physics and phords don't mix - hopefully everyone settles a bit after the weekend and we can get back down to business.

Neal should post a video of himself doing donuts in front of the police station - that would get our minds back on track!

Would U B referring to the compression right after the user name jbrew? LOL - I don't think Toby meant any harm, he was trying to be helpful - I shake my head a bit if the same question's been asked two or three threads below a new one lol - no biggie..

Neal prolly wishes he could right now, he's having some issue's with the truck and might be rebuilding AGAIN... Mannn , I hope he finds someone that will do a good job for him, he's had some rotten luck with the previous builder..
