Finally Using the FFV/E85 (2006 SCREW)
I may be a convert. Starting running E85 in the FFV SCREW. Prices currently around $2.21 a gallon for E85 and $2.61 for 87 octane in Texas. Honestly, can't see a reduction in power or mpg.
I believe the facts around lower mpg, but haven't seen any real data for the F-150 FFV to show exactly how much of a drop. People are throwing around hypothetical estimates but it would great to have actual unbiased data! My average mpg varies quite a bit with 87 depending on driving habits, so not sure how I could do a real comparison.

you just have to fill up and do the math and then compare the numbers, ie city driving gas to city driving e85, hiway gas vs hiway e85...
btw...where are you located that you can find e85? i tried for months to find somewhere before i got my ford, and it's not ffv, so i haven't looked anymore, but i still haven't seen any stations offer it anywhere
unless you are saving a lot of money, there's really no reason to run it presently
