Unhappy Tornado

I was in a Ford Dealers Parts Department yesterday and saw a large disply of the Tornados and could not believe it. I will not do business with them since they are supporting this product.

I bought a used 02 F150 Supercrew that came with a tornado. I am glad I did not cough up the money to buy this worthless piece of metal. It does not work.....Period!

Airraid throttle Body Spacer

I REALLY don't think the "cool" turbo-like whine of this thing was worth the (if I remember right) $100. Damn. Doing everything I can think of to help my mpg. First thing I'm going to do is remove that damn Airraid thing. Maybe that's what hurt my mpg. I HAD gotten 18.5 when I first got the truck with 130k on it. Since then, I've been getting about 17.5 with it. I WAS also running wally-world's cheap full synth. 5w-30 oil--I don't do ANYTHING wally-world anymore, due to their new *******-first homosexual support policy, but, anyway, will stick to full synth's for now.

For those who are going to say, "Why didn't I read the other threads on these P.O.S.'s first," I JUST got onto the internet, and had never had a chance to.

So basically you've only been on the internet a short time and you decided that you should prove what an a-hole you are before anything else

I hope that remark was tongue-in-cheek

Syria's oil production's already in decline.....Ever hear of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hubbert_peak Peak oil? Even if the US did 'cross that line' and openly move to secure oil supplies for itself - and I suppose, eventually it will (as a Canadian, this notion makes me nervous) the price of oil will not (in my opinion) drop significantly below what it is today....I read that in the past year or so, the oil industry spent more looking for oil than it found reserve-wise, in other words, taking new oil exploration into account, it lost money...however I heard Chevron and partners just found a big new field in the Gulf of Mexico, but its size in proportion to US needs makes it not that significant....

We're basically burning the oil that'll power the ambulances and fire engines our grandkids or maybe their grandkids'll need. Personally, I'm hoping for some viable alternate fuels, but, if it doesn't work, we'll travel a lot less, work closer to home, and use telecommunications a lot more, and some freight'll be sent by high-tech sail...

aaaanyway, just some light-hearted banter

Gee Hillsottfam, if you'da just said you didn't support Wal-mart because of their ethics and pricing policies, http://foodmuseum.typepad.com/food_m...jar_of_pi.html

and how they hurt suppliers, communities etc, we would have just thought you were wise and thoughtful....

I wonder how many people complain about Walmart and then go buy something from the BORG or even the internet?
