With NO flame or inuslt to you or your knowledge, BULL $HIIT....
There is NO way that that worthless piece of trash improves anything except the manufacturers and sellers cash flow. NO WAY-NO HOW !!!!!!!
There has been numerous tests and it has done nothing.
Besides, if it really DID do anything, don't you think that the auto manufacturers would have picked up on such an inexpensive component and incorporated it into the intake tracts?????
Save your $$$$$$.

I've actually found a case where the thing managed to dislodge itself and turn sideways restricting airflow and causing serious loss of HP.
Word to the wise, Stay away.

Suffice it to say that there is not a single piece of research from any reputable and/or legitimate firm that has anything good to say about the "tornado". The EPA says it doesn't do squat, it isn't endorsed by any number of organizations who would be putting any product that really saves gas on a pedestal right now.

From CNN:

...Next up was the Tornado, a device that turns air inside a car's air intake valve into a mini-tornado. The manufacturer -- Tornado Air Management Systems -- said it makes engines burn fuel more efficiently.

In the test, the Tornado reduced a Lincoln Navigator's fuel mileage by just under a mile per gallon, from 18.4 mpg without the device to 17.5 mpg with it installed.

But the manufacturer stands behind the Tornado: "We have more than 100,000 satisfied customers. Our product works."

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency did not test the same products that we did, but it has checked out more than 100 products that make similar gas-saving claims over the last 30 years and none has worked, according to EPA Administrator Stephen Johnson.

"It's a scam," Johnson said.

You can read the article here.

I love the magnet one. The reporters didn't install it right, then they didn't test it right, apparently you have to use the right test to get the right result.

Apparently just installing it and driving your car isn't the correct test so any negative results should be assumed to be incorrect.

I read in my popular mechanics mag that the tornado didn't do anything, in most cases it actually decreased gas milelage.

The PSD is turbocharged. You wanna open up the intake to let it breath. A metal restriction is gonna drop your power.

Tornado...info

Gee ...guess I touched a nerve on that one.Actually it's about what I expected.I figured the ones that got better mpg were probably subcontiously driving more conservativly so it showed a positive out come.Gas is down to $2.499 here so I not gonna worry too much right now, besides when we invade Iran,Syria and other OPEC's were gonna have plenty gas. Man I long for the days of 23cent gas,2 fours and big cams on you streeter. DANA

Not to pick on you, but this topic has been brought up hundreds of times. It does not work at all. There is a search button at the top of pages which will let you find out information which has been previously discussed.

Tornado

I always wondered what would happen if you broke wind into one of those things! Sorry, but I just had hernia surgery today and the medication is still pretty active.

On the PSD, your turbo will be LUNCH if a fin breaks off.
