Question oil comsumption ?

I've got a 97 f150 4.6 that seems to make the oil magically disappear. I've checked the water nothin there and no serious leaks and the truck doesnt seem to smoke at all but everytime i check the oil its never touching the dipstick whats the deal??? anyone else have this prob.? I just added two quarts and still not showing on the stick could i have the wrong dipstick possibly. any1 have a part number for the correct dipstick. i've checked the intake and theres a lil bit of oil build up b4 the throttle body but not 2 quarts worth.

any help plz.

I'd start with a fresh oil change. That way you know for a fact how much is in there. While you're down draining the oil, look for leaks. I don't have a 4.6, but maybe someone else will measure their dipstick length. Make sure if you get someone to measure, get just the length of the stick part, not including the handle, and have em measure where the full mark is as well.
