I searched and that topic has been covered in the chips and programmer forum. There is a lot of information about it over there.

Here's a thought...if it ACTUALLY worked, do you think they would sell it for ONLY $3.00 ??? Thats why the price is so low...the chance of it actually working is low/none, but people are willing to spend $3.00 (look at yourself here), to give it a try, and if it doesnt work, who cares, toss it in the trash.
That same resistor is about 39 cents at Radio Shack.

A functional ram air hood w/air box would be a wiser investment!

This one rates right up there with Tornado's, Fuel Line Magnets, Pills for your fuel tank, Turbulator Mufflers and any number of other lightly diguised scams to lighten your wallet. You'll notice that the price is just low enough to keep it under the radar screen too. People think "What the heck." Save yor money. If it was this easy to increase mileage and power, the factory would have done it for us - and warrantied it.

PS: Thanks for asking for advice instead of posting in (like some folks) and singing the praises of this garbage. You'll note that the vast majority of your replies were good, rational advice.
