Don't get the best gas mileage?

What? You mean you're not getting 35mpg? Go figure. Anything that does tends to have a wimpy 4-banger up front. If you are desirous of what one would consider "good" gas mileage, then you don't need a truck. Perhaps a Focus?
Some mods that are sometimes recommended to better one's mileage, such as a performance exhaust, will actually LOWER mileage because it sounds too good to keep the foot off the pedal.
Honestly, I don't care if gas goes up to 5 bucks a gallon. I'm still gonna cross the 2000 mark pretty often just to hear the Flowmaster! Expensive entertainment, I know, but then that's why I got it.
Face it, pal. If you wanna drive a nice, big truck, then it's gonna cost ya, and there are no mods that will change that fact.

And that post didn't have jack to do with the thread, but thanks for adding it anyways.

Huh?

Quintin, I thought the original poster was inquiring about mods that improve what he referred to as "bad mileage". Our trucks get, comparatively speaking, bad mileage as a matter of course. People suggest several mods as a way of improving it, but rarely do they work as intended. That's all I meant, and I thought is was a good, simple, to the point reply. Sorry for any misinterpretations. I thought it belonged in the thread.

He was, but it was kinda harsh to tell 'em fact of the matter he screwed up if he bought a truck expecting decent gas mileage. No, there aren't any cures in a bottle that'll miraculously up fuel mileage, but there are a few common sense things and services that can be done to squeak out every mile per gallon.

Sorry if I came off sounding smart assed or rude, sometimes it's just a force of habit.

I bet I've got the best airfreshener/airblower in the world now! Good idea Chester!
