Code P1451-4.6 motor- what next?

Check engine light is on.I have code P1451 showing on my reader. I do have power to the EVAP valve under the hood. I've checked the EVAP cannister under the truck and it looks fine. What to try next. Can anyone help me here???

I show 1451 as:

"P1451 Evap. Emission Control Sys. Vent Control Valve Circuit Malf.".

Hmm...

See this thread ^^^^^. You need to check the solenoid on the canister, not the one under the hood.

When repaired, reset the code with your scanner and re-reun the KOER test.

I changed the solenoid on the canister over the weekend. I checked all lines going to and from the cannister. They all look good. Re-set the box, drove it, back on the check engine light came. Still showing P1451 code. Any ideas what to do next ????

Did you perform any of the actual troubleshooting steps I specifically pointed out or did you just replace the part and hope to get lucky???
