I was talking with a guy that has the 5.7 hemi in his truck... he said it's terrible in first gear.. has no power what so ever... but once it's in second gear.. it's over... this is probably why you had those results.... pull up your tunes... and you may hold the cards.

Just got interested in the thread to see what kindofa beatin' you guys are throwing on the competition. Glad to see Neal pop his 2 cents in. You guys who aren't local to him should see him go. Go Ford Power Go!!!!! I've been seening him do this since 99 when I'd leave work and see him going up and down the parkway. Then at night, having a smoke in the back yard you could hear him given' her. Lots better sounds than those stupid fart cans who run 30 second 1/8 miles! It's good to see someone flying the Ford freak flag. My question is Neal, what's your record like, with the Windsor heat? I've noticed alot more cops in the Lauzon area, hopefully catchin' people with farting jap scrap or rich homos in neon srt's. C ya. As far as Dodge's Ram, at least it's Domestic!

The WPD has a SRT8 MAGNUM, a HEMI MAGNUM, a SRT8 JEEP, two F-150's a bunch of INTREPIDS, MALIBU's, unmarked CROWN VIC's now.

 

Don't forget Black Silverado SS that keeps an eye on Lauzon. He must be alright cuz I went by him a couple of times doing 70 plus in a 50 and no heat on my ***. The Lion's Head, thats my area.

this is the only Hemi i have ever lost to.. my friend roberts truck. only reason i lost is because my truck falls on its face at 80mph. and thats about when his picks up. cause ive got low to mid power and hes got all high power. but hes got a good bit done to it.

dynatech longtubes. magnaflow full exhaust 3" Y pipe.
KN FIPK. rims shaker hood. a lid. and a Hypertech programmer.

 

I want to start by saying that I grew up in a family of Fords (all red for some reason). I am fortunate enough to be open minded enough to look at other manufactures, and bought a Ram 5 months ago. One of the reasons I did was how much quicker the Dodge was than the F150. Dont get me wrong, the Ford rides better, but its a truck, who cares. I actually have traction problems all the way through 1st gear. My friends 04 F150 doesnt break the tires free. The worst part about it is we get the same mileage, about 16 mpg. By the way mine is a Hemi Ram, his is a 5.4l Ford. I have driven many new and used trucks, and either you have a lot of stuff done to your truck, or your not being completely honest!

 

HI!... JMO but the yellow HEMI DODGE above has one of the ugliest hoods I have ever seen on a truck. Doesn't suit the truck at all. It almost looks like it's backwards! LOL! HEMI's ............ YAWN.

im not a fan of it either but its a true shaker hood.. has a duct that pushes the air to the intake.. he spent lik 1100 on that hood... his parents own a body shop around town... hes wrecked that truck about 3 times now... hes not the most proficient driver... but its a pretty fast truck his best time is a 14.2 @98mph i beleive
