Raced 5.7 HEMI
Well I raced the same truck (my old truck) and I was driving the Hemi this time, and My old truck had no chance. From a roll under 30 is about the only time it will stick with me - for about a second.
Btw, For everyone asking that guy is over on Dodgetalk.com I am not going to post his name, becuase I don't want a **** storm going his way that he knows nothing about. He has slips to prove he is running 12.0 ET's and says he is hoping to break into 11's soon. He is 11.4 ET on juice. Keep in mind the 12.0 is N/A.
I'm not bashing the F-150 in anyway, if that is what all of you are thinking, I liked my truck and most of my family drive ford's. All I was doing my reviving this thread was saying that I was wrong about the Hemi.
What do you guys think about a 2006 F150 5.4 4x4 extended cab against my truck? Pretty Fair? The reason I ask is because that is what my step-father drives and maybe I can con him into a race. :-)

well i am not sure about all hemi's but my friends i was very impressed with just like when i ride with him its scary i mean out running my truck when his is stock and on 20's and 35's and mine is 2wd with a edge and cai i was blown away by the power it had
and his brother has a dodge 1500 2wd stock with the 4.7 or w/e the small v8 is and it has alot of toruqe for a small 8 it will get them spinning from a dead start when he punches it for about 20 feet
and gives my truck a decent run off the line until i hit 50 then i leave him
i think my truck cant burn out or power brake bc of the 3.55 gears

Kickin
What are ya talkin about? My Trailblazer SS is BONE STOCK and there is no supercharger, or Juice. Besides, that guy in the Hemi RAM pulled up next to me with the intent on goin round. Apparently he didn't see the SS on the door, or he thought he was next to a regular Trailblazer.

The 7.3L's and the new 6.4L's run high 17's stock. The 6.0L's are low 17's.
However, a good intake, exhaust, and a well done tune will make these trucks 2-3+ seconds faster.

his point was that a f250 with a diesel vs an f250 with a 5.4, saying that the gas would be faster. and thats a big NO. ive rode in stock 7.3s and basically stock 6.0s and ive road in stock 5.4s and let me tell you. the 6.0 will flat out get up and go, the 7.3 it sets you back when the turbo spools and the 5.4 well it dissapointed me. the 5.4 was in an f150 but it should be faster beings it was in a lighter truck and it was not. not even close. just my personal expirience.
