I heard a rumor a few days ago:
In 2006 the F150 is allegedly getting a V6 version of the Power Stroke diesel with something like 240 HP & 450 lb/ft torque. The expected gas mileage was 26MPG.
I heard this rumor in the local truck accessory store when I was shopping for an Extang Tonno cover. The guy perpetuating said rumor had a GMC shirt with his name on it and said he worked in one of the local dealers.
Anybody else heard the same thing? I can't speak for anyone else, but I would be at the head of the line to purchase such a vehicle.
