Power Programer // Dtc 5284 code ???
Hi first what is the best programer to get I have a 2002 F150 S/C 4.6 L ,, air intake and catback flowmaster system ? and today i just had the check eng light come on i done the cluster test it gave me a code dtc 5284 is that a problum and how too get rid of it thak you for youre time !

5284 is an oil pressure switch failure.
The dash system monitors many other systems and is a second source of info at times.
It does not do engine OBDII codes from the PCM.
The check engine lite may or may not be the same as the dash system indication.
