harmonic balancer e-150

I have to replace the harmonic balancer on my 300 cid. How hard of a job is it going to be. Just put a smog pump on 2 days ago. Now the pulley is spinning on the rubber. It's only 10 degrees outside. Might have it done if it's going to be to involed.

THANKS

Not a bad job.

Remove balancer bolt.

Buy, rent, borrow, steal and puller. After all the belts are out of the way, just pull the balancer off.

Pop out the seal, replace seal with new one.

Install new balancer, don't hammer it on, press it on with installer.

Intall and tighten balancer bolt.

Put belts back on and you're done.

Now the 10 degrees is something different....

Good luck, stay warm.

Merry Christmas
