Lots of oil leaks...why?

Just had an oil leak repaired under warranty. I bought the truck a month ago with 27k miles. They replaced 19 different gaskets. I just wondered if something may have "caused" it, or maybe they just replaced lots of them as a precaution since the rear main seal was leaking. They put new trans fluid and oil in it too (for free), so that's good.:santa:

I would imagine that a lot of the seals they replaced might have been related to things they had to take off to get to the rear main seal.

Did they do any other warranty work at the same time? I don't see 19 gaskets being required to change the rear main seal. You remove the tranny and the flexplate or flywheel and you are looking at it.
