will a 2000 4.6 work in my 97 f-150 4.6

i need to know if my 97 f 150 will work if i put a 2000 motor in it its the same size both 4.6 but will it all work computer and everything else

there are 3 different 4.6l in f150 pickups
windsor built 6 bolt fly wheel
windsor built 8 bolt flywheel
eighth vin code 6
vin w romeo built
plus several intakes etc. for different years

Yes it will. Use the wiring harness from your 97 and remove the COP system from the donner motor and switch it to your coil pack system.

wouldn't it still run a little off with the 97 computer with pi heads?

2001 was the first year for PI heads on the 4.6.
