5.4 75 mm throttle body owners

Have any of you guys ported the tube inbetween the tb and the intake to match? Waas it worth the time to do it for the gains?

Thanks for the pics. I have an extra intake tbue coming tommorow. What kind of gains did you get from it at least at thenth? Or did you add t at the same time as a lot of other stuff.


I have another question for you since your profile says you know everything.
Would 3v heads from a navigator or 04 f150 be interchangable with with a 01 5.4?

Navigator heads will fit, but the cost of adapting your engine to the new heads would be pricey. You have to have an entirely new intake manifold (upper and lower), new fuel delivery (injectors and pump at the very least), new ECU, various new covers and gaskets, and there is also the risk of not enough piston-to-valve clearence. If you're going to do anything with the heads, upgrade your camshafts and have your existing heads ported. Much more cost-effective.
