Not to sure if I am posting this in the right section of this board. Anyway has anyone checked out the new oil filter by NAPA? I saw it advertised during NASCAR the last few races. It claims that by directing the oil in certain direction that it flows better and is more efficient. Just wondering what you guys think.

Ummm, that is the Full Flow Amsoil SDF filters that are made by Hastings/Baldwin.

The By-pass filters are made in-house up in superior. No other company makes a spin-on bypass filter that I'm aware of.

Please try not to confuse by-pass filters from regular FF(full flow) filters.
Ummmm, yeah so you said it. Why not by the Hastings filters and save some money?

I ran across a good article on the subject if anyone cares to read it. go to www.mr2.com/text/synth_oil.txt

This article is rather lengthy, but, is really enlightening when it comes to using synthetic oil in your motor.

Red Line is the best quality base-stock bar none...Mobil 1 and Amsoil are good oils, too.
