Sea Foam uses and suggestions

Sea Foam uses and suggestions
So last night I followed another threads suggestions and ran some sea foam through my truck (via the Vacum hose) to clean it out and potentially improve gas mileage. I noticed an immeadiate improvment in acceleration. (I'll know if the gas mileage improved later..)
So here are my questions
1. how often should I do this treatment?
2. was 8oz. enough (too much? too little?)
3. should I also run a bottle of sea foam through the gas tank next time I fill up?
Any thoughts?

I did the vacuum hose thing with the seafoam also. I put a bottle (16 oz) in my gas tank for grins because some other folks said they did it and It seemed to do some good so I will probably continue to put a can of it in my gas tank once in a while. I have not tried adding it to the oil before changeing it yet.

this may sound like a stupid ? but i will ask anyway.which vacuum line is recomended for this procedure, and where is it located on the v10 gas engine? if anyone has pics of their engine that would help greatly.thanks in advance!

I typically use the vacuum line on the power brake booster. I just remove the fitting and let the vacuum suck up a little of the SeaFoam until the engine starts to bogg down. I then turn off the engine and let the SeaFoam sit for about 10 minutes. Once this is done, I start the engine and rev it to about 2500-3000 RPM,and watch the white smoke billow out the exhaust. I usually do this about 3-4 times per can.

I have done the full seafoam treatment to both of my vehicles &
wow the difference is amazing, allthough I have chosen to do the full & modified method 1ST I clean the throttle bodie with 3M throttle plate & intake cleaner & let that sit for 30min or so then I
do the seafoam thru the vacuume line by the way I use the line that is in the middle of the intake runners on my intech 32 valve V-8 there are 2 ports like this & I use the whole bottle when I do my lincoln since the imrc [intake manifold runner control] get kind of nasty so I use the whole bottle & then I pour one can in the tank & 1/2 a can in the oil, I also do ther deep creep down the throttle bodie & in various vacuume line ports from the first time I used the the whole system I was completly sold, in the oil it works wild, I have used it 100 mile or so before I changed the oil & the stuff that it loosened up was amazing, the power in both my 98 expy 5.4 & continental 4.6 32 valve have just gone thru the roof & when you run the premium fuel after the treatment you will see tremendous improovment. I have even used the
trans flush in both trannies & just as smoothas ever. Have a couple of other tricks if you are courious just ask.

Alright.............I wanna try this Sea Foam stuff, but I'm not sure where you buy it, and I dont know what Vacuum line I'm suppose to use. I've read where you guy's do it but I dont know where these lines are. Can someone give me details, even a picture of what line to use.
Does this also clean the EGR & accompanying hoses?
Thanks

i know that NAPA carries it for sure, they also have the deep creep. i put mine in through the pcv valve line. utilizeing a generic two port pcv, some fish tank air line and the handymans friend a little duct tape, to close off the valve cover port.
the pcv is on the passenger side valve cover. just follow the ticking noise.
