Why is my truck hesitating?

Ok

This morning when I turned on my Expy, the engine hesitated.
I accelerated for a while then hesitation stopped.

Any Ideas?

In the past few weeks I've been using 87 octane gasoline; mexican gasoline (smell pretty bad).

Bad gas? Change fuel filter. Have you ever used Mexican gas before? Has it created the same problems?

Regards

what about using aditives for gasoline

So far this is the only type of gas we are getting.
In the past we used to buy gasoline from Venezuela but due to political problems Mexican gasoline is the onle one available.

1. Fuel filter
2. Clean or replace IAC.

You can do a search for it as there have been many past posts about it.

But you can get it done for about $40 (American, unsure of your exchange rate) at an auto place or do it yourself. You need a fuel line disconnect tool and a new fuel filter from an auto parts place. The filter is on the back of the drivers side I-beam around the opening of the drivers door.

Hmm, i think fordf150.net has the directions, as I know I give poor directions.
