HI!... 1994f150XLT : I doubt very much that your dads F-150 went 240KPH (149MPH). You say he had a transplanted GEN 1 LIGHTNING engine in it which only made 240H.P (flywheel) in N/A trim. The 360H.P (GEN 2) LIGHTNING could only muster 227KPH (141MPH) and the 380H.P (flywheel) GEN 2 LIGHTNING can only go 235KPH (146MPH) in stock trim and they are SC'ed and much more aerodynamic than your dad's older "94" F-150.

My '01 (5.4 auto w/ 3.31s) will do an indicated 106.5 before I hit the limiter. I can get to 120.2 with the superchip installed. From what I have noticed the actual speed limiter varies from truck to truck. When I hit 120 I got to 115 pretty quick and then it was like I hit a wall. From that point on the size of the truck became extremely apearant.
