my truck

I just bought a new 03 FX4 a few months back. In my case I had a trade in. I traded in a 98 Ford Ranger 2wd and got 4800.00 for it. After this and some wheeling and dealing I got my truck payments for 349.00 a month. I did do the 72 months instead of 60. The 0% is nice but a little too much for me...I got 1.9% for the term...Hope that helps a little. I personally would get rid of the lease when it is up and try not to do it again. You will love the satisfaction of actually owning your own truck....

DON'T LEASE!!!! A lot depends on your credit too... Not to get personal

My wife has a 02 Explorer $350\mo 4 yr
I have a 00 Lariat f-150 $351\mo 4 yr

Both bought used this year. My last f-150 was $340\mo on a buy, had that for 3 years.
I never put money down on a vehicle.

Shop around and good luck!

p.s. you get more out of taking the cash back than the o% on most vehicles.

Thanks a bunch Pickup Man, I would love to stuff some 285/75/16s under my truck but I dont think the 2WD suspension will hold them. I would still need 4WD along with all the other items you mentioned to have the "perfect truck".

I have a 2001 supercrew bought used in Jan 2003. $333 mo

Get your lowest interest rate, and get your payments taken out weekly as I do from my credit Union. Over time you do save on interest. Best of all, my $77 payment doesn't seem like a big chunk taken out at once. In my own mind, it's much easier to make payments with a payment like that

Gee, I feel like I got ripped off. I'm paying 610 a month for a 2002 F150 SuperCrew Lariat FX4. I didn't put anything down and also traded in a 2001 screw with high mileage and ate about 2k.

@ $610 per month

You probably "ate" more than $2K the dealer told you.
Amazing how dealers bury/hide costs, but it shows up in the monthly PAYMENT

Payment? Oh, you mean that thing you give to the finance companies every month.
Mine??? $0
Got my truck for $30,000 cash and a '96 Ranger w/100K on it. (sticker was $38,700) Can't complain! I love my F150. It's the first full-size truck I have ever owned. I love saying that! OWNED!
