--As the header states - FIXED! Easy. Took the Throttle body assembly off the manifold. I immediately noticed gunk around the butterfly valve and upon removal was able to see that the ports to the EGR had mounds the size of ant hills (literally 3/4 inch high) covering the 2 ports to the EGR. cleaned them off and cleaned out the ports all the way back to the EGR. Cleaned all other ports in Throttle Body and the inside of the Throttle body itself. Removed EGR and cleaned it out and the plunger (not extremly bad, but could use the cleaning). Removed IAC & cleaned, briefly, the plunger inside it. Noticed that it wasn't that bad?!? Replaced EGR & Throttle Body Gaskets. Reassembled. Replaced PCV Valve although it DIDN'T need it. What the heck, they're cheap. Pulled neg. batt cable. Reattached neg. batt cable. Cranked. Ran purrr-fectly! More power feeling in the accelerator. Ran smoother feeling. No pinging. Should get better gas milage.

THANKS TO ALL.

Did you have any difficulty removing the PCV valve? Mine appears to be plastic, in the driver's side valve cover and won't budge under "normal" pressure.

Interesting! Mine wouldn't budge even when "helped" with a pair of channel locks.
