^ 28k in one year You Da Man I'll be 2 years this August. Might have 20k on her by then. Keep in mind, I floor my baby at least 10-15 times a day, so she's getting a work out. low miles, but rough ones

Love my EB. Great mileage and way more power than I'll ever use. Well, maybe sometimes I use it.

Bought my 2013 in October of 2012. 19,000 miles of very high average miles per gallon. Only problem was really bad speakers but I fixed that with new pioneer 6x8 speakers at a very low price from one of my suppliers. Nice to have the power when you want it.

Something just doesn't seem right with that. That 5.4 with the Rousch as either driven by someone that didn't know what they were doing, or it isn't tuned properly.

The 5.4 truck also only has a 4 speed transmission vs the 6 speed in the EB. The much lower 1st gear will do a much better job of getting a heavy truck out of the hole. The EB has 60+Hp and 60+Tq on the stock 5.4. I'm not sure how much the Rousch kit adds but I doubt the power difference is as much as you would think.

I know it seems that something isn't right. But that is just the MIGHTY power of the Ecoboost showing her stuff!!!!

This is good to hear!! my EB just hit 6000km and runs like she's made of gold. I couldn't even make up a complaint about it.

Just traded in my 10 F150 King Ranch for a 13 FX4 Ecoboost. Man what a difference coming from the 5.4 (and many Chevy 5.3's before that). Was a Chevy guy my whole life till the King Ranch. Loved that truck so much and realized what I'd been missing out on until I took the plunge and went with a Ford. But I can't even begin to put into words how much more I love this truck than my beloved King Ranch. It was hard to part with it but I got a good deal on my trade in. Everytime I get behind the wheel and take this little V6 for a ride it makes it easier for me. Amazing power and decent fuel economy. I've only got 600 miles on it but it has been perfect so far. It is a bit worrisome seeing some of the complaints, but I did buy the extended warranty and rarely keep a truck longer than 3 years anyhow.

Eh, I like a loud exhaust and a loud turbo combined, in this fashion,

^ yep, don't hear that anymore out of diesels. The DPF's & DOC's choked that out. It's a rare sight, especially with the gov't cracking down on late model diesels with no emission systems on the exhaust.

I got my ecoboost on Dec 28th and it now has 12,000 miles on it. So far I really like it a lot. I like the bottom end grunt of those turbos. Really makes it pull good and it never downshifts on hills. Its just pretty darn amazing in my book. MPG is not all that great, but I drive fast, so I don't expect a lot.
If the sync system was one tenth as good as this engine, then the truck would be almost perfect. Unfortunately it isn't even close.
