Update: Oil was changed at 1526 miles, this anaysis is at 2812 miles. As you can see the engine is definitely not where it should be.

Oil analysis shows the following:

Copper 32
Iron < 2
Lead < 2
Tin < 2
Silicon 36
Potassium < 2
Sodium < 2
Moly 27

Glycol -ND
Fuel 3.1

Might just be me but I have no clue what it should be in and DI turbo motor (or any other motor)
Care to either show us whats wrong or post up numbers where they should be?

Just made my first trip towing with my ecoboost. I am towing a 8.5 x20 heavy duty trailer with two 600 lb atv's and a ,900 lb. Harley and with the bed off my truck with about 500 lbs of stuff in it. Pulling from buckeye az to vicksburg miss. The truck doesn't even know the trailer is there. I wouldn't either except I am not getting the 18.5 mpgs at 75 mph. I am averaging around 11 mpgs and I have had cruise set on 79. The acceleration is unreal from starting off. No regrets here! I traded a f250 SD power stroke for this truck and I honestly cannot tell the difference in towing

The problem areas for that analysis are:

Aluminum
Copper
Silicon
and most of all Fuel dilution

Several guides on the internet, nonetheless with only 1300 miles on the oil that was analyzed, this engine has issues.

[I]'ve read somewhere DI motors fuel dilute the oil pretty quickly. On mine once I hit 4,000 miles I get ready for an oil change appt. The dipstick has a strong fuel smell at that mileage. I will not go over 5k between oil changes.

I saw fuel dilution as well on BITOG posts, I only go 3k on oil. I only put about 10-12k on the truck a year, oil is cheap insurance.

While I agree DI engines will have dilution... at 1300 miles on this oil I had more dilution than my previous diesel did at 5000 miles. Definitely not where a gas engine should be.
