Are your TIRES rated for more than 65mph? You need to check before towing at 75.......

'12 SCrew, 3.55, 275 x18s, 6.5'bed, 3500#s of Atvs (3) and trailer, crossed Cottonwood pass 2 roundtrips, 3 men and a half-man sized dog and got 12 - 15.5 mpg. Figured with pencil and paper - the lie-o-meter was close within tenths.

I towed an 84 Blazer back from Florida on a uhaul car hauler and avg 12.5 @65mph. If I stayed at 60mph I was getting 14. Hills of W. VA. were no match.
Car, trailer and xtras loaded in vehicle was about 7000lbs.

I did a test pull with a used screw ecoboost with my 19' Tracker Targa v18 combo, boat weighs in at around 3000 pounds. Doing 60mph I was getting 12.5-13mpg, was a bit of wind that day though so it could be better.

Just an update.

I borrowed a 2012 Ecoboost Lariant Screw with max tow and 3.73s. Pulled my boat and was getting 14mpg, weight is around 3000-3200 depending on gas and gear. This is a monstrous improvement over my current 2012 Tundra 5.7 which averages 10.5-11mpg with the same boat.

Keep in mind this is at 60mph, which is usually the sweet spot for better mileage and safety. Getting there slower is better than not getting there at all.
