Yea I mean I've heard they helped alot and I've heard they r basically $100 paper weights!! So I was jus wantin to see if anyone on the sight had any experience with them on a 4.2 l. I no my buddie put one on his 07 Ram and it helped with the throttle response alot!! So I didn't no what to do!!

Yes, my dear Craptor. I merely meant to say that I've heard they help a lot. However, I've also heard the corollary position - that they are basically $100 paper weights!
Hence, I was actually inquiring if anyone on the site had any actual experience with them on a 4.2 L, specifically.
I know my buddy installed one on his 07 Ram POS and it helped with the throttle response significantly. I cannot, unfortunately, independently corroborate whether or not that was, in point of fact, accurate - he may just enjoy being a ****** at my expense, as buddies are wont to do.
In summary, I did not know what to do and came here seeking some factual data. Instead, I found a pack of mean, vindictive vitriolic ne'er do wells, bent upon hazing a completely innocent n00b.

10-4 on that one. If'n the racket is all you're after, then duct tape a few of those party favor whistle thingies into your grill. I doubt you'll see much of a performance gain, but they make a HELL of a racket!
