Eco boost crate engine?!

I briefly searched and sorry if there is already another thread. But, does anyone know if you can order just the engine as a crate engine either from ford or elsewhere? i'm assuming there isn't anything quite yet considering how new they are...

Yes, you can. Someone on another forum did(er well it was like their uncle or something). I have no clue where you can get them though. Ill see if I can find something, but I know they are available. What are you planning on using it for?

I doubt you will find one for a few months as Ford can't keep up with demand with the engine for trucks. The Coyote from Summit is the Mustang version not the truck version- big difference

The one in the dune buggy is probably from a Taurus SHO

And I assume you have contacted them yourself to determine EB availability to the general public?

Where have you read ford can't keep up with demand? The trucks are rolling out of the factory very nicely; what is holding up the trucks from getting to the customer is quality control. Not the availability of the engines.

OP just like glc said just call them.
