Ecoboost build date

Has anyone received a build date for an Ecoboost you have ordered? I placed an order Jan 3 2011 and am waiting in anticapation to hear when it may hit the line.

You'll probably find your build date coming to you the week of Feb 7, 2011. If you don't get it that week, I'd suggest looking for a 5.0 if you want a 2011.

My build date for my ecoboost is the week of Feb 14. Mine was ordered the last week in December.

I was actually suppose to receive my ecoboost powered FX4 this past Tuesday but there was a big delay on a huge shipment they have coming down to the south east. They are trying to get those trains fully loaded up, hence the extra wait time.

Anyways, I was informed that the train is rolling now out of KC, Kansas and one of the first stops is my hometown of Memphis.

I ordered my ecoboost Platinum on December 10th, it was built the "week of January 17th" and is now on it's way to Anchorage with an arrival date of February 20th (plus or minus a week per my dealer).

great! let us know when you get it and your impressions. I don't guess you got a chance to test drive them up there like we did down here before ordering?

I drove a couple at Texas Motor Speedway. Nice power and nice low end torque.

Congrats! let us know what you think. Especially what mpg you are getting on it.

Is the intercooler still mounted directly in the center of that hole in the front grill?

I am so not looking forward to having my front license plate mounted on the side instead of the center. You aren't required to have a front plate in TN are you?

Also interested in your rear axle. How big does it look compared to a normal F150 axle. The ecoboost trucks have a stronger axle and I wondered how much bigger it is. Also got an axle code for it? I am wondering what size the ring gear is?

19mpg city, but I am a conservative driver most of the time. I do not have to have a front license plate in tn, so I didn't even take the chance to notice. I have been incredibly busy lately so I have not had the chance to even look the truck over well and learn all of the features...

It does have the 3.73

Just called the dealer and they received a build date on my XLT EB of Feb 9. They felt delivery should be 3-4 weeks out. Sleepless till then
