Melting down that engine sounds fun. Watch under your hood, though. Fire isn't very friendly to trucks, or people.

Just my opinion, but if you are gonna blow your engine go for broke and find the biggest NOS shot you can find. Also I would recommend removing your hood beacuse of random parts that might be flying out of your engine compartment.

One more thing, you might not be able to get very far with that kind of NOS shot beacuse of fuel starvation.

well my friend that is going to help me put in the "new" engine has decided that we should go with a nice 400 powershot. the fuel wont hold, so we definitely know its gonna go. the reason i am blowing it up is because anybody around here wont pay the price for a good engine and they only pay you what a blown one is worth. but, if anybody wants it, i wont blow it. it has 71k miles on it, '97 4.2 w/ 5-speed. im sure ill have parts lying around, ill post them when they are all taken off to see if any body wants them

the plans to do this involve extensive modification to both my truck and the new engine. i am going to have to have the engine built and ready to go in before i blow my 6 cyl. so, its not gonna be a month from now, probably 4-5 months. but it shall be very fun to plan and watch. plus im gonna take pictures of my engine build and put them on here

There are pleanty of people willing to buy V6 engines, www.v6power.com the 4.2 is a good mod to a V6 stang.

Put a post in the "for sale" board, Shoot, even the intake and heads go for about $400. (if they don't have the butterflys)

The 4.2 crank is a hard part to find as well.

PLEASE don't blow it, help one of my frined s with a V6, www.v6power.com
