Just got home from superchips( new numbers)
I just got home from 2 10 hour days at Superchips and I'm pretty pleased with the Dyno numbers.They are as follows
1) 320 flywheel / 252 rearwheel 129 mph.@5000
2) 333 flywheel / 268 rearwheel 139 mph.@5200
These two runs where made when the air temp. was 68 degrees and the humidity was about 40%
and the truck temp. was 190 and the air intake temp. sensor was in the mid 90s.
The second day the numbers where not nearly as good.The temp. was 99 degrees and the humidity was 75% and the truck temp. was 207 and the air intake temp. sensor was 160 (HOT).We could not cool the truck down for anything.
1)268 flywheel / 182 rearwheel
2)284 flywheel / 195 rearwheel
no top speed because we where trying to keep it cool.
All in all we made about 40 runs and they found every pony there is I think.
So I just wanted to thank Charlie,Chris,Ron,and Jay For all their hard work.

Congratulations on making 333 horsepower (at almost 140 mph, WOW)in your 4.2 V-6 (with the help of Superchips), excellent!
The *FIRST* V-6 F-150 to be supercharged here on F-150 Online (it's been on about 15-18 months now, if memory serves, and this is XanMan's second trip down to Superchips), and XanMan has done an *excellent* job on this custom installation & fabrication of his supercharged 4.2 V-6.
And yes, I'm not at all surprised by the much-lower power numbers in that incredible heat, at 99 degrees you're being robbed of almost 50 horsepower (49), and yep, that's going to make a *big* difference, of course.
Congratulations on getting back down to Superchips for the final tuning, and on those numbers, WOW! Many 5.4 V-8 owners would *love* to be making the power your 4.2 V-6 is putting out.
Now we need to get you to come to the Second Annual F-150 Online National Rally, which will be in a couple of months, in Norfolk Virginia, we need to get you out on the drag strip!

When I'm done with my mods I will be in the 350hp marker... ever gone to the track? I'm very interested in your torque numbers, Post them???
350hp mods:
custom hooker headers
Borla Cat back
Extrude honed upper& lower intake
Port polished heads and exhaust ports
1.93 cam regrounded for added torque for bottom end (lower top end)
3 angle valve work
bowl work
30lb injectors
electric fan
intake
Custom supercharger (not sure on what brand to go with) w/10-14# pulley
Hopefully this will put me around the 350-380hp mark

That sounds awsome keep us posted on how it all goes.I was thinking about a cam myself but I still have some things to do to the truck the way it is. The first thing is 2 more psi. and a bypass valve, should be good for another 10 to 12 hp. And then gears that should get me going!
I don't have the torque numbers in front of me I will have to call Charlie but I think they were like 320 on the 333hp. run

hmm... If true xanman, a new cam regrounded for more torque on the lower end should be useful to help get the truck moving. Gears a plus! 320 sounds a little low tho???...

XanMan, this has been tearing me up. How the heck did you get flywheel HP numbers? Dont get me wrong, thoes are some impressive numbers, but I didnt think there was an engine dyno that would work for these engines.
