Ok so why not the electric fans? I thought that freed up some power?

My problem is my truck is getting heavier every day. ( brushguards, tires, nerfs etc etc) I won't be towing anything regularly just me and a heavy truck with gear. I want to go ahead and gear swap, but they want like 1500 dollars and I don't know if the IFS will hold a locker/LS.

Intake, and heads and cam, exhaust (headers and cat back) plus lower gears should be plenty for me. I did like the thought of the electric fans though.

If you like the idea of electric fans then by all means put them on.With all this other work that is gonna make the hp shoot through the roof, I just don't see a need for them.I *think* electric fans only free up around 10hp or so.If I were making my truck into a racer, then yes it would get the electric fans(every little bit helps in this application). That 10 hp is minimal compared to what the blower will give us.See where I am coming from? There is absolutely nothing wrong with electric fans but I feel the other mods will suffice for my power needs.
