It may be a repost, but it was posted in the wrong forum. It's in the 2004-2008 forum which makes no sense.

I'm betting our V6 board is going to take off, once all the new Ecoboost owners start joining. can't wait to read peoples reviews of them on this site.

???????

Sounds all good but I dont know if I can go for the V6 over the V8. They are pretty close in specs. I will have to drive both and am leaning toward the V8.

As much as I love my truck, I'd definitely consider the new e-boost as my next purchase.

I've driven both the Eco V6 and the 5.0 V8, both are good with plenty of power. The Eco will get better mileage, some people were reporting 29 in MPG trial runs.

Cool

Well...that is interesting I guess, but here is a video from Dirty Jobs of Mike Rowe doing the same thing with mules...

http://www.veoh.com/collection/s6303...219129fXj8PZnR

So what they are telling us is the new ecoboost engine has as much go as a mule...

All kidding aside, I am a fan of the new turbo sixes. I might actually buy one in 3 or 4 years once all the bugs get worked out .

Mike
