I find it kinda funny, I am looking for a
pic of the 4.2L upper intake and I've found
hundreds of 4.2L truck pics and they are
ALL exterior pics! What's with that? I wanna
see the powerplant! Who's got an engine pic
or better yet a pic with the plastic cover
removed so I can see the intake better?

does any one know what the little thing on top on the engine is? ya know the thing that is in front of the spark plugs , i dont know what its for. if you look at "regulator's" pic , its right near the plastic cover. (in 2000sport's pic ,you can see it better)-- Does any one know what im trying to get at here? , can any one tell me what it is for? id sure like to know...

That is the idle air motor. There is a screw
in there and spins and feeds the engine air
at idle when the throttle place is completely
shut.
