2008 F150 4.2l V6 MORE POWER

i have a cold air intake and a dual exhaust. what are some easy cheap mods i can do that will help out.

There arent any cheap ones that you havent done. A programmer would be your next step.

The cheapest mod is to use the search feature of the forum.

Cheap and easy are no longer an option to increase your HP at this point.

efans would be the next step, then UDPs and then a programmer.

did you notice a difference after the efan? i heard they are crap.

electric fans dont give you power, they are substitutes for the heavy mechanical fan that absorbs the output of the engine. so you will regain about 3-5 rwhp back rather than spin an accessory. ive had mine and i notice the gain in the lower end

my friend said in the 2008 f150s i cant take the fan off becuz its built into the motor. so can i put a efan on or would it take alot of work?

Im putting on efans and UDP's this week. Ill let you know what I think. I have a Mark VIII fan with a DC controller and ASP UDPs.

efans are easy. just gotta build a bracket if you dont want to puncture a hole into your radiator

what size should i get and will i use the same belt and leave it turnin the fan pulley or will i need to get a shorter belt and run it a different way?
