Fuel/emissions line OK to use as vacuum line?

OK, I went to Autozone to get a vacuum line for my truck.
The kid said " I don't have that large of hose, this should work"
then cuts a length of Fuel/emissions line (rated 50 psi) Can this be used in place of my vacuum hose?

Having a hard time getting this vacuum leak squared away and just don't want something to add to the problem.

Thanks,

OK, The hose seems to work fine.
I did find a large hole in the rubber elbow that runs under the intake in the front of the motor. Just put electrical tape around it till I can get to the Ford dealer and get a new molded one. (bend is to tight to just use the standard hose.)

Just thought I would let everyone know it seems to work fine.

I wasn't very happy to hear him say that ether, but at the moment I needed something to fix the truck. I went with what he said till I could get the right part.
Called Ford and they have the molded vacuum lines I need.
