another question- underdrive pulley

haha sorry for all the questions guys. I'm trying to get everything I want to put on my truck together before I go back to college in september. Anyway I've been looking around for underdrive pulleys for the 4.2l. There doesnt seem to be too much of a selection, but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or positive experiences with any particular brand? Thanks.

For $145 you can get the UDP and the belt from Troyer.

I don't think I've heard of anyone running them but I hear good reviews about Troyer. They are on my "Top-5" wish list.

A lot of V8 guys on here are running UDPs from Troyer, and they love them. I know Troyer has a good rep as well, but right now, a few people are unhappy with the return time to get their custom tunes back.....for tunes, I would go with VMP.

I've got the UDP from Troyer on my 4.2. Good bang for the buck. More power, better accel., better MPG. I got mine when I bought the Stage 1 kit for the 97 4.2 from Troyer. I got 2 gator back belts so I had a spare.

the 97-98s didnt have harmonic balancers so they are only $100 or so, 99+ do have harmonic balancers so they will run you $200+
