Pulled codes-Where to start?

327 EVP or DPFE CIRCUIT BELOW MINIMUM VOLTAGE

328 EGR CLOSED VOLTAGE HIGHER THAN EXPECTED

452 INSUFFICIENT INPUT FROM VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR (VSS)

542 FUEL PUMP SECONDARY CIRCUIT FAILURE- PCM TO GROUND
....This code came up because I removed the midship tank from my truck and only taped the plug up until I find away to connect the wires on it to complete the circuit.

628 CONVERTER CLUTCH ERROR (E4OD)

I have a gut feeling that my (VSS Sensor) could be causing the other problems but need some guidence on it. I know very little on how the sensors react with one another.

Some reason the codes repeated them selves before the test completed. Should this of happened?

Please post the year, model, engine, and transmission of the vehicle................with 3 digit codes and E4OD this does not sound like OBD2 or a Ford V6.............did you post in the right forum?

My bad;
Its a 91 F150 4.9 Inline6

The reason I pulled the codes to begin with was the truck wanted to mis off and on while driving and lightly pushing the gas, then again never does it when firm with the gas.

Nope. It's a 91. That's not OBD II.

Egr codes probably a worn or stuck egr valve. The EVP is bolted to the top of the valve. First, I would pull the battery cable, then drive it and see what codes come back. As far as your misfire, you need to check the basics. Vacuum leaks, spark plugs, wires, fuel pressure (about 50-60psi for the 4.9), etc. Yes, the codes repeat once to verify.

Plugs,wires,rotor and cap all new. I will run the test once more to see what challenges are ahead.

The reason I thought the vehicle speed sensor was probably faulty is that the signals run from it then to the others as i was told.

Your opinion on cleaning the EGR with a carb cleaner?

Checked the vacuum lines for leaks and not a hiss or whistle. I plan to check and clean the EGR valve this weekend. As for the speed sensor, Ill have to look up its location. Crawled up under the truck today and didnt spot the speed sensor, just the speedcable and afew wires attached to the harness it connects to as it enters the transmission. Other side of the trans, just the lines themselves. Will most likely buy all new sensors for the codes I recieved unless the speed sensor corrects acouple for me. Can only hope!
