need an estimate on hp and mpg pickup
I bought my first F150 a few months ago when i was home on leave from iraq. i haven't made it home yet so i was wondering if anyone could give me an educated guess on what i might have picked up as far as hp and mpg.
Here are the specs: Stock 2002 F150, 4.2 V6, jet pcm, airaid cold air intake, E3 spark plugs, and grannatelli mpg plus wires.

First off, Welcome to the site!
Well the Jet modules have been known not to do much of anything for our trucks. The Airraid gave you maybe 3-4 rwhp, and the plugs and wires maybe .5 together....
Your best options for getting HP, without filing for bankrupcy are the following....
SCT Xcal 3 w/ custom tunes from VMP, Troyer, or Power Hungry Performance (PHP)
Dual exhaust setup (Magnaflow, Slowmaster, Gibson, MAC, etc.)
Headers (Gibson or MAC)
that is all I can think of right now.
There are other guys on here that can help out also. They will eventually find this thread.

Not a whole lot of gain out of the money you have spent, but you really didn't buy anything to add to the performance other than the intake and chip.
Deertay has a 2 of 3 things I would buy first if I hat to start over. The Xcal 2/3 and exhaust, but instead of the headers I would go with an underdrive pulley.
Reason being is that the few that I have talked to that have the xcal and pulley, say they felt just as much gain from their pulley as they did with new tunes. If you cant get headers for $175, like I did, I wouldn't do those until you have everything else.

First engine mod I did on mine was AF1 CAI and ASP UDP, put them on while waiting for my tunes from Troyer. At the time no other performance mods had been done and just the CAI and UDP woke up the truck, better accel. , more passing power and better MPG. Pulley is a good bang for the $.
Almost forgot, E-fans should free up more HP as well.

You already have an intake. The Airaid will work fine. The pulley is a good idea. Also consider electric fans.
