Well I just filled up and ran the numbers and got 18.5 MPG. Thats not too bad I guess. As far as mods i dont plan on much right now. Gonna tint the windows, vent-shades, look around for some nicer wheels. Even if its just nicer take-offs from another F150. May check out the scan gauge down the road.

Several dealers here are advertising them for $9995 if you qualify for all the rebates. I wasnt turning in a Red Carpet lease so I didnt get that $3000 rebate. However I did upgrade to a truck with a/c and radio and they knocked a few more dollars off so I ended up getting mine for $12500 with a bedliner and mudguards. Sticker was $19600 plus almost $500 in extras. Not a bad deal imo.

Thanks! Some people try to get away with it but cops tend to frown on it. I still have my 30 day tag on.

I was just asking because these truck look better with no front plate or mounting bracket. I took mine off. I haven't had a front plate in 6 years.

When I got mine, I simply hated the wheels! I looked and looked and could not find an aftermarket set I liked either. Now that I've had my truck for 4 1/2 years, I've learned to kinda like the wheels. I saved a lot of money by not changing them. Get yourself two more wheels, just like the ones you now have, and mount a *good* pair of studded, snow tires. This fall, put the snow tires on, put about 100 pounds of weight in the center of the bed, and you'll go anywhere you need!

BUT!!!! More cup holders? What's up with that? Two seats - four cup holders! Why more?

Did they not install the slide out cupholder just below the heater controls? Mine has two there. I also have the 40/20/40 seats, so there's two more in the arm rest. Then, in the front of the door pockets, there's a spot to hold a water bottle. In fact, there's just too many places to entice you into opening up some liquid that's is just sure to be spilled on the seats!

Opening a bottle / can of liquid anything is like smoking. If you just gotta do it, tell me, we'll stop on the side of the road, sit on the tailgate and enjoy the break while you enjoy your refreshment.

That's a pretty truck! Wish I could have gotten a manual trans! In 04, they were just not available in the NBS.

Thats a drawback to the 5-speed. No holders in the dash as they would be in the way of the shifter. Only one on the floor off to the side of the shifter. Mine also must be more basic than yours. I have the vinyl 40/20/40 seats that dont have cupholders in the arm rest. Oh well...thats what I get for being a tight-***! LOL! I did find a nice center console that sits on the middle seat that has storage and cup holders on JCwhitneys site. Might check that out.
