40 has a nice rumble but will kill the bottom end in a V6 ,I switched to the 50s series just for that reason also to much drone in the cab , if you want it to sound like a V8 then need to buy one...

if your looking for a great exhaust set up look for a guy named raptor, his tip that he put on the stock exhaust makes it sound MEAN!

but seriously if you looking for an exhaust for a v6 i would stick with gibson, they give a great rumble that doesnt make you sound like a v8 wanna be

I don't like how slow my truck feels now that I have an exhaust. Tempted to waste the 250$ I just paid to have it put on and do it again my self using the old bends.

Get rid of the dump, run it out lightning style with a 3.5" or 4" tip, that will "amplify" the sound.

Dual cherry bomb extremes. It's a work in progress.

Dont mind the water, the day before couldn't make up its mind if it was going to snow or be nice and sunny.

when you put a CAI you will breath better thus in the end creating more air flow that will have to flow though the exhaust also, thus giving a better tone, slightly!

That's not what causes the extra noise you hear when you put a CAI on. The open filter is not muffled so you hear the intake noise in addition to the exhaust. We used to do that in the old days with carburetors - flip the air cleaner lid over and listen to it moan when you stomped on it.
