v6 exhaust
the rest sounded fine.
That's not what causes the extra noise you hear when you put a CAI on. The open filter is not muffled so you hear the intake noise in addition to the exhaust. We used to do that in the old days with carburetors - flip the air cleaner lid over and listen to it moan when you stomped on it.
the cow coughing part, if you would have read the info on youtube, i put the truck in drive and gassed it. i was showing how it sounds hitting the lower rpms in drive. the brakes were catching
The CAI is just not pulling much more air than stock to make the exhaust noticeably louder.
What does a F.I. setup like TJ03150 sound like (exhaust) should be nice. Maybe he can make a video. and im geussing he guns the 3" pipe all the way to the back and out, or does it go though a high flow cat?
Ok that makes sence i can understand that.
Now he already has a exhaust (i think).

I have one that is dumped after the muffler, I think it sounds good in the low RPMs. The muffler itself is located so far back toward the axle that it doesn't really drone that much, its actually not that noticable in the cab. I bought the truck from a friend who already had the flowmaster on so Im not sure what the low end torque was like before it though...
