Thinking this one is the one I'm going to order.

Any thoughts? I was going with the offset to get the exhause a bit closer to the side of the truck so I can dump it slightly pointed to the side to reduce noise. I'm pretty sure I have the 14" sido and don't have a problem with the noise, but with the siso dumped should I go to the 18"?

Hi! Longtime no talk. If you want to reduce the noise, go with the 18". It's quite a bit quieter than the 14" and doesn't cost too much more. If you want it really quiet, get a 24" and dump it after the axle and point it away from the cab. It looks like peformancepeddler.com has some good prices. Just my 2 cents.

Yea, tell me about it. It's rare that I make it home before 1-2am now, and I usually sit on the couch and watch TV for 30 minutes then go to be just to get up and do it all over again. The sad part about it is that this is my day seven days a week.

I'm going to order it sometime this week or next once I get a chance to see what size I currently have. We have 2.25" pipe right?

I'm pretty sure the problem with the 'stutter' at 50-60 MPH is from the trans or one of the sensors dealing with it, but I've had no chance to mess with it at all. Not this weekend, but next I should have a chance to take a look at it and I'll let you know what I come up with.

Damn man, maybe it's time to look for another job? Not even one day off on the weekend? That's overkill! There's better jobs out there, it's just a matter of finding them. That's half the battle.

Btw, the stock exhaust diameter is 2.50". Also, you might want to check your U-joints. They can make it feel like the engine is stuttering at certain speeds if they get worn out. Good luck with everything.

Yea, the whole reason I’m doing this is to find a better job; I’m in school. I’m busting my *** to pick up the GPA and to get out while the going’s good. I’ve got three more semesters and will probably end up offshore this summer. Hopefully, next fall I can line up a nice fulltime position somewhere.

Had a couple of trouble codes so I pulled the plugs and gapped them and that seemed to fix everything including the "slipping" which apparently wasn't slipping.
