Can't you just buy the intake gasket for like $2 at the autoparts store?

Yes, I know the gaskets cost money. Pair of lower gaskets, a single upper, throttle body, etc.

I am going to change mine MY SELF was wondering if anyone had pictures of their change and an recommendations of potential problems! Have the Haynes manual but don't trust it all that well. Thanks for any help.

I took mine apart careful and re-used it. On the old truck i used RVT Sealant on both sides, smoothed it out and let it set for a second or two. While it was still wet, i screwed them on so they sealed together. Didn't want all of it to just squish out the side.

i'd rather pay the $40 and know that they're not going to leak than reuse old ones and possibly have to take it all apart and do it again. IMO
