burnout

okay so i have a 2000 f150 4.2 5 speed, with the limited slip and i can sqeel the tires but i cant get a smoky burnout. my friend with a 4 cylinder ranger can do a better burnout. is it just my driving skills, or is it because of the limited slip?

No, the 97 is a LS and I can get both tires smokin pretty good but its a 4.6 five speed. Trickier with a stick, but still doable. I get the revs up pretty good with your heel on the brake. Let the clutch out as quick you can and then mash the gas switching your left foot to the brake.

Keep in mind that this is VERY hard on all your drivetrain and you are risking your clutch first, u joints second, and tranny third. But they still are cool! Cept I do it with my beefed up powerstroker where there is enough torque/horsepower to break the wheels loose with very little effort.
