Engine Stall with no warning will not start

I have a 4.2 L. Was running fine today and stalled with no warning. Turns over freely but, does not seem to be getting fire , took off the coil and had it tested--- it tested good. Took off crank positioning sensor--- it tested good. I'm having it towed back to my house tommorrow. Just finished replacing clutch slave cylinder a couple of days ago---which was a big pain in the ===. I need help. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Have your alternator checked. If your alternator went bad, your truck will not run. However, your engine will turn over, but only until you suck all the juice out of the battery by cranking it until it's dead.

The alternator should not cause this since it only operates while the engine is running. Since there is adequate battery power to crank the engine, it is extremely unlikely that there isn't enough juice to run the other electrical systems.

Instead of testing parts randomly, apply some logic to your troubleshooting.

An engine has three basic requirements to run: Air, Fuel, and Spark - all delivered at the correct time.

Air - Crack the throttle slightly. This bypasses a stuck-closed IAC valve. In your case, not likely the problem.

Fuel - Can you hear the pump running for two seconds when the key is first turned from OFF to RUN? If not, check fuse and inertia switch and related power supplies. If the pump runs, check for fuel pressure at the test valve on the rail. Should have 35-45 psi. If the pump runs but no pressure, check for a restriction in the fuel line (ie, clogged filter) or suspect a faulty pump.

Spark - Verify no spark condition with an inductive timing light or use the old screwdriver trick to see if it arcs. If no spark, verify power feed to coil.

Once you know positively which subsystem has failed, it gets a lot easier to locate the actual fault.

dittos on above. fuel system would be where I put my money. Did you hit a hard bump or something that would trip the safety switch?

I had an 88 f150 that the altenator went out on me while I was pulling into a gas station. It was running fine, and then it quit. It wouldn't start, but it would turn over. A new alternator fixed it. I'm just going buy a similar experience that happened to me. Just my 2 cents.

I'm back with no luck

Had the truck towed home. Changed the fuel pump, since I was there. It is still not pumping gas. Disconnected the fuel line before the gas filter and still no gas pumping. Checked the fuse and relay and they were fine. Checked both with a meter and juice is flowing at the fuse and relay. Then checked for spark, I have no spark. Had the Alternator checked and it was fine-had the coil checked and it was fine. Had the crank sensor checked and it s fine.
Evidently I have some thing electrical going on. I can't understand what could have happened. It was running fine one minute and stop running the next.Is there a control module ? I'm fixing to pull my hair out not that I have alot to pull. Any Ideas.
Thanks

Adrianspeeder was problably right on this one. Look in your passengers side rocker panel for a saftey switch. Sounds like you have tripped that switch somehow.
