Shifting Problems after Tire size change?
My tranny has been acting weird since I changed tire sizes about a month ago (32/11.5/15 to 31/10.5/15). I just had the fluid changed and the shop reported that everything looked good inside. The transmission is mainly acting up when its cold. When I first pull out of my driveway in the morning its taking about 5 seconds before it will engage into D after I drop it down into gear. Also at low RPMs it will shift up and down from O/D to drive say about 1400rpms to 1700. Also when cruising on the HWY it will do the same by shifting from O/D to drive when I let off the accelerator, but not all the time. It never does it when I have the O/D turned off. The shop that did my rebuild(MAR99) and fluid change (last week) did some research and found out that when I dropped from 32/11.5/15 to 31/10.5/15 in tire size that the computer has some type of adjustment in it that must be done also. Can a chip cure this problem

What year truck, what kind of mileage, engine, and trans do you have?
I dont think that such a small change in tire size would affect your tranny so much. It seems more likely to me that something is up with your tranny.
Is your filter is loose? Do you have the right type of fluid filled to the correct level? Could one of the electrical connectors inside the pan possibly have come loose?
I think that the truck is fairly tolerant when it comes to changes in tire size and gear ratios. The problems you're describing sound more tranny related ..................... I think. Sorrry I could'nt be more helpful but it's all I've got.
Good luck.

It's called a hyperlink, and instructions on how to create them are on this page. They are pretty cool and really clean up the look of a signature or when posting a link like the one below. To make the picture a link itself, you just put your image address into the area where the text would go, using the [img] and [/ img] tags. Good luck!,,,,98

the code would look something like this...With the {} changed to []
