IS Mobil 1 ATF rated 'Mercon V'?????
Have been reading all this on atf fluids. But nowhere on the bottle of mobil 1, does it say its rated mercon V. There are other brands that do say they are 'synethetic - mercon V' so who is correct, whats the best, and how will mobil 1 affect the warranty??? Just want some more input.

I have the 4r70w which does require the mercon V. My question is, When I go to replace the trans fluid...with something better, say mobil 1, will I be voiding the warranty. Or are the other Mercon V rated atf fluids as good as the mobil 1????

Mobil is rated Mercon. I strongly suggest you DON'T put anything except for Mercon V rated oil. You will void your warranty. Besides why take the chance and waste big $$'s; especially at $4.00 a quart. There's several other synthetic brands rated MERCON V out there.
